Another staple from my live repertoire, this 2024 track opens with a rave about “tribute” bands. Black and White chronicles the life and times of of early New Orleans jazz pianist Ferdinand “Jelly Roll” Morton. We’ve given this song a bluesy Nawlins treatment.
